Michael Goldman- Mortgage Broker of the year 2008
Manchester based mortgage broker Michael Goldman was awarded the title of Mortgage Broker of the year 2008 for the Prime category. The award, sponsored by Halifax was in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the mortgage industry over the last 12 months. This is the second time in 3 years Michael has been awarded this honour, having won the award in 2006 & runner up in 2007.

Goldman Group launch ‘Unfair Consumer Credit Agreements’ claims service
Due to a change in recent legislation under the Consumer Credit Act 2006 (which came into force July 2007) millions of people are entitled to claim £THOUSANDS. If you have a mortgage, secured loan, personal loan, motor finance or credit card (or if you have taken one out since 1990) the law has now established that you are almost certainly eligible for compensation!!!

For anyone who doesn't know, or may have forgotten, 2006 was the year Michael Goldman was awarded the title of Mortgage Broker of the Year at the British Mortgage Awards ceremony that was held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

In 2007 lenders in the UK repossessed 27,100 properties, an increase of 21% compared to 2006 where repossessions were 22,400. In 2003 repossessions were reported at 8,500. Forecasts for 2008 are in excess of 70,000.
